New Patients
Prior to your first visit:
- Please take time to fill out all the forms completely on-line in advance.
- Make sure you eat a little snack/meal a couple of hours prior to your treatment so that your stomach is not too empty or too full.
- Wear comfortable and loose clothing. Refrain from wearing perfume.
- Bring a list of allergies and a list of medications you are currently taking.
During your visit:
- Be prepared to discuss all aspects of your health. It is important to get an overview of your health in order to properly diagnose your present condition.
- According to our diagnosis of your condition, specific acupuncture points will be chosen to rebalance your body. The needles are hair thin, sterile and disposable.
- After your treatment, we will discuss your TCM treatment plan. Based on your constitutional diagnosis, we will make nutritional and lifestyle recommendations.
After your visit:
- Please try to rest and avoid any vigorous activities immediately afterwards.
- Drink plenty of water.
Payments Accepted:
Payment in full is required at the time of treatment. For your convenience, we currently accept cash, check and debit/credit cards (Visa, MasterCard), Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) of MA and Optum (Veterans Affairs (VA) Community Care Network (CCN) and UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage) .
Today many health insurance companies cover the cost of acupuncture treatments. We are an in-network provider with BCBS of MA, VA and UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage.
We are an out-of-network provider for Aetna, Cigna, Humana, Personal Injury, and Worker’s Compensation cases. These insurers offer different plans to choose from, some of which may cover our services and some of which may not, but we will help you find out if your plan covers our services. By clicking on the link “Insurance Verification” on the right, we can begin verifying your insurance benefits through your insurance provider.
Cancellation Policy:
In the event that you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, kindly give us at least 24 hours advance notice to avoid cancellation charge ($35).
