Nguyet-Nga Wolverton, (Nina), is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist in MA, a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), and the founder of One Dao Acupuncture. Nina has a Masters degree from the New England School of Acupuncture (NESA) at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and the Health Sciences (MCPHS) University. NESA, founded in 1975, is the oldest acupuncture institution in the United States and is a leader in delivering high-quality health care providers in the field of Oriental medicine.
Nina undertook a program in Pediatrics care at the Boston Medical Center. Nina specializes in pain management, migraines and headaches, stress and anxiety, mental health and sleep disturbances. She has worked effectively with patients suffering from GI disorders, women’s health and fertility.
Nina started her career teaching at a middle school in the Boston Public School Systems. Her love for languages led her to travel to Europe where she furthered her studies in Communications in Strasbourg, France. Later, after working in social services at the Elder Services of Worcester, Nina saw first hand how pain affected her patients. Nina then decided to specialize in the holistic and natural healing of acupuncture and eastern medicine to bring about a safe, effective and drug-free intervention for patients suffering from pain.
Nina is a mother of three beautiful children and lives with her spouse in Holden. When not working in clinic, Nina enjoys spending time with her family, growing organic vegetables in her garden, practicing meditation and traveling.
